Tell It the Way It Is! was recorded in 1963 by Paul Gonsalves and other two former Duke Ellington band members , Johnny Hodges and Ray Nance, which teamed up with Swedish trumpeter Rolf Ericson and pianist Walter Bishop Jr. on two sessions to create Tell It the Way It Is!.
